First heard the beats which got me moving side to side like my usual dork move. Then, the kids singing the chorus and I couldn’t help but smile. Finished listening to the song and knew I was gonna have a “Good Day,” even though there’s only 40 minutes left to today…I’ll just transfer the mood over to tomorrow or listen to the song again. Win-win situation.

Ignore the actual youtube video and focus on the song. The story’s interesting, but the chorus got my attention. Citizen Cope’s voice is, let’s be real, orgasmic. The mellowness just blows me away (pun intended).

Yes. Another Chiddy Bang song. He’s slowly moving up my list of favorite artists. Not that I had a definite list before…so I guess this makes him number one? Absolutely love the lyrics. All I can say is that the old Margi is back, bitchez, and no one or thing is gonna change me.

Thought this should be for all the college kids out in the world. When I first heard this, I immediately thought of a good friend (let’s just call this person “Shamu”). So I dedicate this to her. Hoodie Allen reminds me of Chiddy Bang (at least based off the only song I heard by him for now). Really digging the lyrics and the beat. Not everyone has to be robotic and suppress their emotions. I’m allowed to be vulnerable, and there’s no wrong to it.
